For the 6th year in a row Huston Electric, Inc. is proud to accept the Journal & Courier’s Reader’s Choice Award for the category “Best Electrician”.
We are so proud of our amazing staff who have made this possible, and for the community who has embraced us for so long.

If you’re hungry and on the go Dan the Man’s is for you, their food is amazing and the service is top notch!  That’s why we were so excited when Dan gave us the opportunity to work with him on his vehicle graphics.  He wanted something fun and eye-catching, and we had a blast designing it.  After we finished his food truck he was so happy with the outcome that he had us add graphics to his personal vehicle.  You certainly won’t drive past without noticing him now, so be sure to stop and grab a bite to eat with this STAND OUT client!

If you like to feel the wind in your hair and cruise the open road on two wheels then it’s likely you know JD Corey and PowerSports of Lafayette.  His incredible showroom is an aesthetic experience in and of itself, even without all of the high powered inventory.  What they lacked, however, was a way to communicate to all the traffic that passes their facility.  JD worked with us to create a monument sign with an electronic message center so that he’s not only easy to find, but he can also give his clients and the people passing by a new message every minute!  From advertising sales to letting commuters know the time and temperature to sharing community messages JD can now get Greater Lafayette his message with just a few clicks.  As you know, it’s the season for motorcycles so JD doesn’t have a lot of time during the day to work at a computer, but with his new EMC can work on messages in his free time when he is at home!  We always love working with PowerSports, and we are so thankful that they choose us once again to help them STAND OUT!

Recently we had the opportunity to work with Pamela Leeman, Logans Landing and the City of Logansport to bring some local art to life.  Funding for the art was provided through proceeds of "Dancing with our Stars", an event that was established in 2010 to raise money to provide public art in the downtown and create an art district.  Logans Landing, Dancing with our Stars, event chairman Pamela Leeman commissioned works by local artists to be displayed publicly through their downtown.  We worked with the artists to ensure that their pieces were utilized as they liked, and that the print quality did their masterpieces justice.  The artwork was printed direct to substrate on dibond panels, and installed in framework around the town.  Two additional pieces were installed on the Visitor’s Center, which really helped the renovated building to STAND OUT!  We are grateful for the opportunity to help these artists share their work, read more about them and the City of Logansport at: http://www.indystar.com/story/news/politics/2015/12/20/public-art-brightens-downtown-logansport/77667528/.

Ryan Clevenger, General Manager of Harley-Davidson of Kokomo, believes in having a beautiful showroom for his clients. Whether you’re one of his regulars or visiting his store for the first time you can’t help but be impressed when you walk through the door. That’s why he saw potential in the shop portion of his building.

b2ap3_thumbnail_before_after3-440-300-300-80.pngHe knows that if you ride you are going to be coming in for service, so why shouldn’t the back of house look as good as the front? He asked us to revamp the service area, using vintage logos to make the ultimate man cave. Eight38 designed a town with motorcycles, using Harley-Davidson of Kokomo’s logo in the artwork. We installed non slip floor graphics, perforated window vinyl, signabond backed digital prints, and much more! The break room window, which eliminated privacy for the staff, is now covered in dry erase vinyl to make it not only beautiful, but practical. Even the garage doors got the royal treatment, now serving to remind customers of maintenance items and advertise Harley’s capabilities in serving their clients. Now when you walk into the service area you will find yourself as blown away as when you walk through the front doors, Harley-Davidson is a shining example of how to take your branding to the next level to really STAND OUT!

Ryan said of the project “My staff and I would like to thank you for helping us create a design that not only fits our dealerships personality but also is aesthetically amazing.  From design to install your crew was awesome to work with!  I'm glad our businesses made a connection and look forward to working with you again in the future.”
