Have you been by Financial Builders Federal Credit Union lately? Chances are you’ll hardly recognize it! Financial Builders has changed the whole layout of their parking lot which now offers parking space at the front of the building instead of just the sides. During this exterior overhaul they decided to update their signage and called Huston for help!
Financial Builders knew they wanted a sign with an electronic message center to advertise to people driving past on Lafountain and another one to advertise to customers waiting in the drive thru lanes. From there, Huston’s graphic designer provided several renderings for design options. Once the design was decided upon Huston worked closely with Perkins Contracting and, together, brought the monument sign design to life!
Perkins provided the stone base and pillars while Huston provided the signage for the monument. The electronic message center is a Daktronics Full Color 16mm that is housed in an aluminum cabinet with routed sign faces and push-thru acrylic lettering for “FINANCIALbuilders” “FEDERAL CREDIT UNION”. The method of routing the faces and using push-thru acrylic makes for GREAT illumination of the lettering which really stands out!
Huston also provided a Daktronics Full Color 16mm electronic message center over the drive-thru canopy. This way, customers who are waiting can view the promotions and specials that FBFCU is offering—all from the comfort of their vehicle!
It takes a lot to make these types of signs functional and Huston specializes in turnkey installations. Who do you know that can provide electrical conduit, CAT5 cabling, wireless communication, IT programming, and in-person software training? Huston is the answer! Call us if you are ready to begin planning signs like these for your business!
Huston Signs provides and installs electronic message centers, channel letters, architectural letters, monument signs, pylon signs, neon signs and blade signs. Huston has physical locations in Kokomo, Lafayette, and Westfield, Indiana.
