Westfield’s Grand Park sports complex is the largest public sports complex in the nation and is home to over 30 multi-purpose fields, more than two dozen baseball diamonds, two indoor all-purpose facilities, and over ten miles of paved trails. Along with the fields and baseball diamonds, there are 7 concession buildings. Huston Electric served as the electrical contractor of this project and installed all on site power to the complex. Huston also installed a new, energy and cost efficient LED lighting system which is comprised of over 300 light poles, as well as all the indoor lighting of the facility. Huston also placed all the conduit needed for the telecommunications system throughout all 400 acres of land. The power needed to run the scoreboard and PA system was also provided by Huston. Substantial completion for this project is scheduled for the summer of 2014.
