The Purdue Federal Credit Union bank, which is located on the main floor of the new Wang Hall building, is a fully operational bank and is easily accessible for Purdue students, faculty, and staff. The bank features new lighting, lighting control, and fire alarm systems. The lighting package installed is composed of new, energy efficient LED lights that look fantastic and are cost efficient. It also features LED backlighting behind the indoor sign which makes it look fantastic in the middle of the room. The outdoor signs above the doors and on the sides of the building were installed by the Huston Electric Sign Department. This project was unique in a way where the electrical contractor division and sign division of Huston Electric worked hand-in-hand to ensure the project was completed to the customer’s satisfaction, as well as being completed on schedule and on time. The bank is scheduled to be open in the Fall of 2014.
